Driving Arturo Merzario’s Ferrari on Tazio Nuvolari Circuit (Pavia, Italy)

On March Saturday 29, 2014.

This was an amazing experience! Half a day of full immersion in the world of GT car racing on the Tazio Nuvolari circuit near Pavia (south of Milano).

I was “In pista con Arturo Merzario“, the formula 1 driver of the 70s,  who is now running its own racing pilot academy together with Paolo Meroni.

Last Saturday under sunny weather conditions together with other 14 drivers I got the chance to sit in a Ferrari 360 F1 GT3 and get a ride on the race track. With the help of Arturo and his team I could enjoy the motoring pleasure, Power of a V8, paddle-shift transmission direct derived from Ferrari Formula 1 cars that made me grinning until now and for the next days.

Beside the experience on the track I also enjoyed the Italian food and wine as well as city sighting in Pavia!

The good news is this is an experience at an affordable price. With 200 € you can get a ride (2 laps) as passenger and with 300 you can seat at the steering wheel with the instructor sitting beside you. Anyway there are many combinations possible and Arturo is very flexible.
